Vel is another of the great
Jersey Shore sax players and is an original member of
the Rogues. He has also opened for Hugh Masekela,
BB King, Spyro Gyra and others. |

Phil Spennato - Bass
Phil is a talented
and experienced Jersey shore musician. Prior to joining
the Rogues, he was best known for his work with the
Salty Dog band, and more recently with the Michael Davis
Band. |

Ilya Stemkovsky
- Drums
Ilya has played drums in a variety of nationally-touring groups and has garnered various press for his eclectic style. As a player, he spent 7 years with San Francisco-based electric jazz group OM Trio, which toured across the entire country and won the SF Bay Guardian's 2001 Reader's Poll for best local jazz band.. Ilya also played drums in Philadelphia-based electro-pop group Brothers Past. He has also played in numerous wedding bands, pop projects, and funk/blues groups and has been reviewed in Modern Drummer Magazine. Ilya has an artist endorsement deal with Vic Firth drumsticks and has been a contributing writer for Modern Drummer Magazine. |
